One Day Class: Revisiting the Civil War

Summer is ONE DAY CLASS season, and I’m happy to hold the first one off class on Revisiting the Civil War, featuring the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Winslow Homer show. We’ll look at other works in the collection, and contemplate the years preceding the war, the war itself, and the issues of Reconstruction.
